Q. Where can I find information
regarding your prepress requirements, such as bleeds, margins and document formats
and sizes?
A. Please see our Help Center
page.
Q. How long does it take to receive an estimate on printing services?
A. Most of our printing
fees are available online by selecting the product you are interested in and utilizing
the quote tool on the product’s page. For custom quotes, we will typically quote
a price for you the same day.
Q. What are your turnaround
times?
A.
Overall turnaround
will depend on the printing priority and shipping priority selected during the ordering
process. Please refer to our Turnaround page for details.
Q.
How do I upload my
artwork to you?
A. After selecting
a product and adding it to the shopping cart, you may upload your files through
the upload form via shopping cart .
Q.
What type of files
do you accept?
A.
We prefer print-ready
PDFs. Although not preferred, we can also proof from EPS, TIFF, and JPG files. We
can also work with PSD, AI, INDD, QXP, and CDR files, however there could be issues
between versions, fonts, links, etc., so it is preferred you use the tools within
those programs to make a print-ready PDF. Instructions for making print-ready
PDFs can be found under the
HELP CENTERtab on our website. For MS Office files such as PUB, PPT, XLS and DOC please follow
the instructions found under the Help Center
tab on our website regarding how to convert those files into PDFs.
Q.
What are your proofing
options?
A.
You will receive a proof in PDF format via e-mail.
In order to review the proof, you will need the Adobe Acrobat program or the free
Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available at
http://get.adobe.com/reader/
Carefully check each proof for errors! Once we receive your approval your print
job will be done exactly as you specify.
Q.
What is a PDF proof?
A.
A proof allows you to review and approve your final print design.
It represents the product we will print according to your specifications.
The PDF file will also include necessary bleeds (outer margins that will be trimmed)
and alignment. When you receive a proof, please examine it carefully and
then give us your approval to print your order.
Q.
What are your Coating
options?
A.
We offer a variety
of coated and uncoated stock, depending on the product. Some stocks have the
option to add UV coating, which adds a high gloss finish.
Q.
Do you color-match?
A.
We cannot guarantee
exact match in the color fidelity or density of our products. This is due
to variances presented from a computer monitor to the final product. However, MyPrintEasy.com
guarantees that its products will not be defective in accordance to the standards
of the commercial printing industry. Meaning we will utilize the color values
supplied to us in your artwork and the outcome should be within an acceptable range.
To avoid drastic changes in color make sure to create your artwork within the CMYK
color space, utilizing the GRACoL2006 Coated 1V2 color profile.
